Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) for class 1 to 5 and 6 to 8 by Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC). The eligible students can fill online application from 27th March 2026 to till application last date 26th April 2026 through UPESSC official website i.e. upessc.up.gov.in for UP TET examination 2026.

Interested candidates must read the full notification carefully, before applying online.

Application Fee

UR/ OBC/ EWS Candidates: Rs.1000/-
SC/ ST Candidates: Rs.500/-
PwBD Candidates: Rs.300/-
Application fee can be paid through Credit/ Debit Cards and Net Banking/ UPI.

UP TET 2026 Eligibility Details

Primary Level Teacher (Class 1 to 5):- Graduation pass in any stream with Passed / Appeared D.El.Ed. (Final Year) Examination. Or Graduation pass in any Stream with 50% Marks / Master Degree in any Subject with B.Ed Degree (Passed / Appearing) Or Graduation pass in any Stream with 45% Marks / Master Degree in any Subject with B.Ed Degree (Passed / Appearing) (As per NCTE Norms) Or Class 12th Intermediate with 50% marks and 4 Year B.El.Ed.

Upper Primary Level Teacher (Class 6 to 8):- Graduation pass / Master Degree with 50% marks with B.Ed / B.Ed Special exam Passed / Appearing (Final Year) Or Graduation pass / Master Degree with BTC Training 2 Year exam passed Or Class 12th Intermediate with 50% marks and B.El.Ed 4 Year Course Or Class 12th Inter with 50% marks and B.SC Ed exam passed. Graduation pass in any stream with 45% Marks / Master Degree in any subject with B.Ed Degree (Passed / Appearing) (As per NCTE Norms).
