Post Date : 02 May 2026 | 04 : 15 PMOnline applications are invited by National Testing Agency (NTA) from eligible candidates for University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) June 2026 for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor. The eligible candidates can submit online application from 29th April 2026 to till application last date 20th May 2026 through UGC NET official website i.e. ugcnet.nta.nic.in for UGC NET June 2026.

- Gen-EWS/ OBC-NCL: Rs.600/-

- Application fee can be paid through Credit/ Debit Cards and Net Banking/ UPI.
UGC NET June 2026 Eligibility Details
Master’s Degree or equivalent in Humanities and Social Science (including languages), Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science etc.
OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates who have secured at least 50% and 55% marks for General in Master’s degree or equivalent examination.
UGC NET Examination Scheme 2026
The Examination shall be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only. The Test paper will consist of two sections, both the sections will consist of objective type, multiple-choice questions. There will be no break between the papers.
