SSC JHT Educational Qualification Details 2026

1. Junior Hindi Translator/ Junior Translation Officer/ Junior Translator:-

Master's degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject; OR

Master's degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject; OR

Master's degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject; OR

Master's degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject; OR

Master's Degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects; And

Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years‟ experience of translation work from Hindi to English.

2. Senior Hindi Translator/ Senior Translator:-

Master's degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject; OR

Master's degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject; OR

Master's degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject; OR

Master's degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject; OR

Master's Degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects; And

Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or three years‟ experience of translation work from Hindi to English.

How To Apply For SSC JHT Vacancy 2026

There are following simple steps for apply online of SSC Combined Hindi Translators Examination 2026 as under described:

1. The applications must be submitted only in online mode either at the website of SSC (HQ) https://ssc.gov.in or through mySSC mobile application.
2. All the candidates who wish to apply in response to this Notice and have not generated their One-Time Registration (OTR) through new website https://ssc.gov.in.
3. Before submission of the online application(s), the candidates must go through the Preview option to ensure that they have furnished correct information/ details in each field of the application form. They should also check that photograph and signature are meeting with the prescribed requirements. The candidates are hereby advised to keep a hard copy of the application(s) submitted.
