Online applications are invited from eligible applicants for recruitment of Engagement of Apprentices by Western Railway (WR) for 5349 vacancies in various divisions and workshops under Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC). WR Apprentice Recruitment Qualification Details 2026

Educational Qualification:- Must have passed Matriculation (10th class) under the 10+2 examination system with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Board.

Technical Qualification:- Applicants must possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade, affiliated to NCVT.

Western Railway Apprentice Selection Process 2026

The selection of eligible applicants for training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 will be based on a merit list, which shall be prepared by taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained in both Matriculation (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) and the ITI examination, with equal weightage given to both.

Applicants are not required to send any hard copies of applications, certificates, or documents to RRC/WR by post. All relevant documents must be uploaded online only.
