Post Date : 15 July 2026 | 03 : 05 PMOnline applications are invited from eligible candidates for Engagement of Apprentices by Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) Guwahati for 6777 vacancies in Workshops, Divisions and Units under Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC). All eligible male and female candidates can apply online at RRC NFR official website nfr.indianrailways.gov.in from 20th July 2026 to till the application last date 19th August 2026 for Apprentice recruitment 2026.

677NFR Apprentice Educational Qualification Details 2026
Passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board and must also possess an ITI certificate in the trade notified, from an institute recognized by NCVT/ SCVT.

NFR Apprentice Selection Procedure 2026
Apprentices will be selected on the basis of unit-wise, trade wise and community wise merit position. The merit list for each unit will be based on percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. The final panel will be on the basis of average of marks in matriculation and ITI.
However, for Laboratory Technician (Pathology) and Laboratory Technician (Radiology), merit lists will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation(with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + 12th Science (in Physics, Chemistry & Biology).
