Post Date : 30 March 2026 | 05 : 25 PMOnline applications are invited from eligible candidates for Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) for class 1 to 5 and 6 to 8 by Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi. The eligible students can fill online application from 21st April 2026 to till application last date 21st May 2026 through JAC official website i.e. jac.jharkhand.gov.in for JHTET examination 2026.

- UR/ OBC/ EWS Candidates: Rs.1300/-
- SC/ ST/ PwBD Candidates: Rs.700/-

- Application fee can be paid through Credit/ Debit Cards and Net Banking/ UPI.
Jharkhand TET 2026 Eligibility Details
Primary Level Teacher (Class 1 to 5):- Passed +2 or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education; Or
Passed +2 or Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 45% marks and two year Diploma in Elementary Education as per National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002; Or
Passed +2 or Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.); Or
Passed +2 or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education); Or
Graduation pass and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Upper Primary Level Teacher (Class 6 to 8):- Graduation (or its equivalent) and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education; Or
Graduation (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and B.Ed. or equivalent training course obtained in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard; Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.); Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year BA/ BS C.Ed. or BA.Ed./ BS C.Ed.; Or
Graduation (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education); Or
Post Graduate with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade and 03 year Integrated B.Ed. M.Ed.
