All eligible male and female candidates can apply online at IOB official website iob.bank.in from 25th August 2026 to till the application last date 14th September 2026 for Security Guard recruitment examination 2026.

25IOB Security Guard Qualification Details 2026
(i) A pass in 10th standard or its equivalent examination but the candidate should not have passed Graduation examination or its equivalent.
(ii) The candidate should be able to speak, read and write in Tamil language.

IOB Security Guard Selection Procedure 2026
The mode of selection as follows:
- Objective type Test - Online
- Local Language Test (Tamil)
- Physical Fitness Test
(1) Objective type Test - Online
(i) Knowledge of English Language : 20 marks;
(ii) Aptitude Test : 20 marks;
(iii) Arithmetic Test : 20 marks;
(iv) Psychometric Test : 20 marks;
(2) Local Language Test
Test on Knowledge of Local Language (Tamil) shall be conducted separately for a maximum of 20 marks.
(3) Physical Fitness Test
Candidates who qualify in the Online test and Local Language Test and scored above the Cut-off scores and also otherwise satisfactorily meet the eligible criteria shall be subject to Physical Fitness Test. (*see notification for physical test details).
