Post Date : 11 May 2026 | 06 : 05 PMOnline applications are invited by Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2026 for Paper I and Paper II. The eligible candidates can submit online application from 11th May 2026 to till application last date 10th June 2026 through CTET official website i.e. ctet.nic.in for CBSE CTET - September 2026.

- Fee can be paid through online mode.
CTET 2026 Eligibility Details
For Classes 1 to 5:-
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year B.Ed. “(a) who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education.
- PG with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in final year of three-year integrated B.Ed. - M.Ed.
For Classes 6 to 8:-
- Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in PG and passed or appearing in final year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year B.Ed. (Special Education).
- PG with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in final year of three-year integrated B.Ed. - M.Ed.
