Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued online answer key and response sheet for recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Junior Translation Officer (JTO), Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator (SHT) and Senior Translation Officer (STO) for 84 vacancies. All eligible candidates may download answer key through SSC official website ssc.gov.in from 21st September 2026 for Combined Hindi Translator Examination 2026.

SSC JHT Educational Qualification Details 2026

1. Junior Hindi Translator/ Junior Translation Officer/ Junior Translator:-

Master's degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject; OR

Master's degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject; OR

Master's degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject; OR

Master's degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject; OR

Master's Degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects; And

Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years‟ experience of translation work from Hindi to English.

2. Senior Hindi Translator/ Senior Translator:-

Master's degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject; OR

Master's degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject; OR

Master's degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject; OR

Master's degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject; OR

Master's Degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects; And

Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or three years‟ experience of translation work from Hindi to English.

SSC JHT Answer Key Notice 2026

Download Answer Key and Response Sheet from SSC portal of Combined Hindi Translator Examination 2026. Representations in respect of the Tentative Answer Key(s), if any, may be submitted online from 21.09.2026 (23:00 hours) to 24.09.2026 (23:00 hours) on payment of Rs. 50/- per question/ answer challenged. Paper-I (Computer Based Examination) was conducted by the Commission on 08.09.2026 and 13.09.2026 at different centres all over the country.
