Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued online admit card for the posts of Stenographer Grade C & D for 731 vacancies in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations. All eligible candidates may download admit card through SSC official website ssc.gov.in from September 2026 for Stenographer recruitment examination 2026.

SSC Stenographer Qualification Details 2026

Educational Qualification:- passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University as on or before the cut-off date i.e. 01.08.2026.

Skill Test In Stenography:- Shortlisted candidates in the Computer Based Examination will be required to appear in the Skill Test for Stenography. The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi (as opted by the candidates in the online Application Form) at the speed of 100 wpm for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 wpm for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’. The matter will have to be transcribed on computer.

On the home page of the SSC website, you will see the “Admit Card” link in the top right corner.
Click on the link “Stenographer Grade C and D Examination 2026” given under 'Quick Links' section.
You will be redirected to admit card download page of Stenographer Recruitment Examination 2026.
Enter your Registration Number and Password correctly.
Next enter Captcha in the page to proceed further.
Finally click on Login button to download your admit card.
