Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi has issued online admit card for Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) for class 1 to 5 and 6 to 8. All eligible candidates may download admit card through JAC JTET official website jactetonline.com from 15th October 2026 for Jharkhand TET examination 2026.

Interested candidates must read the full notification carefully, before applying online.

SC/ ST/ PwBD Candidates: Rs.700/-

Application fee can be paid through Credit/ Debit Cards and Net Banking/ UPI.

Jharkhand TET 2026 Eligibility Details

Primary Level Teacher (Class 1 to 5):- Passed +2 or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education; Or

Passed +2 or Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 45% marks and two year Diploma in Elementary Education as per National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002; Or

Passed +2 or Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.); Or

Passed +2 or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education); Or

Graduation pass and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Upper Primary Level Teacher (Class 6 to 8):- Graduation (or its equivalent) and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education; Or

Graduation (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and B.Ed. or equivalent training course obtained in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard; Or

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.); Or

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year BA/ BS C.Ed. or BA.Ed./ BS C.Ed.; Or

Graduation (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education); Or

Post Graduate with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade and 03 year Integrated B.Ed. M.Ed.

Jharkhand TET Exam Admit Card Notice 2026

Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the Council's website, jac.jharkhand.gov.in, starting from 15 October 2026. Admit cards will not be sent to any candidate by post or through any other means.

It will be mandatory for candidates to reach the examination center two hours before commencement of the examination. The main gate of the examination center will be closed 30 minutes before the commencement of first and second shifts of the examination.

Candidates can follow simple steps for online downloading of Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test 2026 admit card as under described:

First of all open JAC TET official portal https://jactetonline.com
Click on the link “Download Admit Card For JTET 2026” given under Important Links section on the home page.
You will be redirected to the admit card download page of Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test 2026.
Enter your Registration Number and Password correctly in the input boxes provided under Candidate's Login section.
Next enter Captcha as shown in the page correctly to proceed further.
Finally click on Sign In button to download your admit card.
