Bihar Post Matric Scholarship Eligibility Details 2026

(i) Students must be a permanent domicile of Bihar state.

(ii) The caste of the student should be under Backward Class (BC)/ Extremely Backward Class (EBC)/ Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST).

(iii) BC and EBC or SC and ST students whose annual income of parent/ guardian including own income does not exceed Rupees 3 lac only, will be eligible for scholarship under this scheme. The applicant should be studying in post-admission courses in government institutions/ recognized non-government institutions located within the state.

Aadhaar Card, Income Certificate, Caste Certificate, 10th Certificate, Bonafide, Fee Receipt, Last Mark Sheet, Photograph and Aadhaar Seeded Bank Account.

Post Matric Scholarship Important Instructions 2026

1. All students are requested to regularly check their application status via SMS, email, and the PMS portal, and to make necessary corrections if required.
2. The Post-Matric Scholarship scheme amount will be disbursed only after the successful verification of the caste and income certificates uploaded by you.
3. If any student fails to provide the required documents or if the documents submitted are found to be incorrect, please log in and update the details with the correct document numbers and documents.
4. All students are requested to regularly check their application status using their Aadhaar number and date of birth; if your record is not available, please apply again.
5. All students are requested to have their Aadhaar number seeded with their bank account for DBT and to ensure that the correct account has been linked to their Aadhaar by the bank; otherwise, the scholarship amount will not be received.
6. The student is required to submit a hard copy of the application to the institute.
